The inspiration

The « Sous-Marine II » collection draws inspiration in the 1960s, in the legendary aquatic explorations and underwater adventures of that era.

The oscillating weight passes for this new collection in Solid Gold engraved with the "Au750" and the maker's hallmark "Octopus".

The “Sandwich” Dial

A “sandwich” type dial construction. The lower plate receives the Swiss Super-LumiNova® photoluminescent material in Grade X1 and green emission to ensure optimal readability. The slightly smoked matte white/cream lacquered top plate. This plate is machined to create the twelve indexes.

LAVENTURE watches are produced entirely in Switzerland mostly in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the cradle of Swiss watchmaking.

LAVENTURE produces only very exclusive limited series. When a model is sold out, it is over, it will not be reproduced.

The superdome

Superdome crystal made from PLEXIGLAS®.

Why PLEXIGLAS® instead of Sapphire ?

It is lighter, there is less reflection, it is more resistant to violent shocks, it is made in Switzerland, it is resolutely "Vintage" and patina over time. The scratches repolish very easily. (something you can do yourself when you want your PLEXIGLAS to be new again).

The box

LAVENTURE watches are delivered in a case inspired by the old books of Jules Verne : The Extraordinary Voyages / Hetzel Edition at the end of the 19th century. No more question of an old box that ends up in the trash or at the back of a closet. This case will sit proudly on your bookshelf, in your living room or on your bedside table. It houses the LAVENTURE watch, additional straps if you have chosen any, the tool for changing straps, the user manual and the 2-year warranty certificate.
