The inspiration

The Transatlantic GMT collection draws inspiration
in the 1950s and their long-haul trips, like
the legendary Paris-New-York line.

The matte dial

A sandwich type construction dial.

The lower plate generously receives the photoluminescent material Swiss Super-LumiNova®.

The slightly gradient matt green lacquered top plate is drilled to form the indexes and ensure optimum readability.

The superdome

This is the component that allows LAVENTURE TRANSATLANTIQUE GMT to switch to 100% Swiss Made : Superdome crystal made from PLEXIGLAS®.

Why PLEXIGLAS® instead of Sapphire ?

It is lighter, there is less reflection, it is more resistant to violent shocks, it is made in Switzerland, it is resolutely \"Vintage\" and patina over time. The scratches repolish very easily. (something you can do yourself when you want your PLEXIGLAS to be new again).

The plexiglas® crystal

The stainless steel bezel receives a PLEXIGLAS® insert. The 24-hour figures are machined in the mass and then filled with Swiss Super-LumiNova® photoluminescent material. These luminous figures are therefore in relief in PLEXIGLAS®. The two light and dark green zones symbolize the hours of day and night.

The double time zone

The Transatlantic GMT collection has a fourth hand that allows the display of a second time zone. It’s the perfect complication for long-distance adventurers.

Movement

Swiss Mechanical movement with automatic winding

ETA 2893-2 in ELABORE finish.

This solid and reliable movement has 21 jewels to limit wear and extend its lifespan. Its pendulum in Golden Nickel alternates 28,800 times an hour, a frequency of 4 Hertz ensuring it is 99.986% accurate.

The night vision

The generous dose of Swiss Super-LumiNova® photoluminescent material on the hands, the dial and the bezel allows night vision with a maximum of marks ensuring perfect reading.

Engraving

The TRANSATLANTIQUE GMT collection is limited to 50 copies per model. The back of each watch is engraved with the serial number /50 and the collection illustration. LAVENTURE produces only very exclusive limited series. When a model is sold out, it is over, it will not be reproduced.

The metal bracelet

This collection is accompanied for the first time by a 316L stainless steel bracelet that follows the curves of the case. Its width, which evolves over the first four links, its finesse and its finishes gives it incredible comfort (even more comfortable than the rubber bracelets that already were).
